Believe it or not, but it did not happen in men’s volleyball. This incident occurred in the semifinals of the Atlanta 1996 women’s tournament!

It was the very peak of a fierce rivalry between Cuba and Brazil. These two teams just could not stand each other, so their head to head games were more than just sport.

Cuba and Brazil played a thrilling game in the semifinals at Atlanta 1996, while the match ended with one of the most shameful scenes in the history of Olympic volleyball tournaments.
