The host Hungary played against the strong France team on the third day of the European Championship qualification tournament.

Hungary was trying to get to their first win on the tournament, but it was a difficult task against France led by Laurent Tillie. It was an interesting match with a lot of nice plays and Hungary lost their third game 0:3 (20:25, 15:25, 16:25).
