Belgium – Montenegro
Montenegro’s defense line was literally knocked down in the first set by Belgium’s service, and especially by those provided by Charlotte Leys, Laura Heyrman and Nina Coolman.
Belgium lacked focus in the second set and hence Montenegro could resist a bit more via the help of Tatjana Bokan, Dragana Perunicic and Ana Otasevic. However, as Leys went to the serving area, she contributed the final boost for the provisional 2:0.
Bokan played well also in set 3 but Belgium – and especially Leys – remained focused to wrap it up in straight sets.
