“I have good news! I went to the hospital, to get the results of the last scan. After five months of fighting, having eight chemotherapies, the treatment proved to be successful. The lymphoma is currently out of my body. I will continue to be under control in the hospital. It is difficult to say how long physical recovery it will take. Therefore, it’s important for me to stay patient and to slowly build it. I really want to thank to my hematologist, nurse director and all the staff of the oncology department at the ISALA Hospital for their professional guidance. Of course, I am grateful to my family who helped me enormously during this period. Also to my colleagues at the foundation and all the people who called me, sent messages and who was giving me support. Thank you very much,” writes Bas van de Goor, who was diagnosed with lymphona in November last year.
