After a three-week long break, Vasas-Óbuda returns to the court for the finish of MEL. January is a very important month to prepare for national competitions, so the Hungarian girls want to win as many matches as possible, because they need to gather confidence before domestic games.

“We’ve prepared hard during the holidays, not only on the court, but with lot of conversationcoach Zoltan Jokay said after the team’s Hungarian Cup match on Tuesday. – We are still fighting with ourselves, we’d like to prove our mental skills. I hope I’ll see some positive signs about this against Doprastav. One of our starters, Bernadett Dekany had a smaller injury this week, but I hope she’ll able to play on Friday.”

On the 23rd of October, Vasas stole a point from Bratislava on the first game between the two teams – this is the only point which Vasas gained abroad. The Hungarians proved two times during this season that they have the strength to win or play a good game against anybody – the home side hopes that Friday will be the third time.
