Volei Alba Blaj, the leader of Romanian championship defeated Penicillina Iasi in straight sets. Serbian attacker Aleksandra Crnčević was the top scorer with 18 points.
Stiinta Bacau did the same thing against Lugoj. They finished math after three sets and Ana Cristina Cazacu was the best scorer with 15 points.
In the last match of the day, Bucuresti outplayed Targoviste 3-1. Jovana Brakočević Canzian and Ioana Maria Baciu scored 20 points each for the winning team while American Erin Fairs scored 21 for Targoviste.

The Romanian Volleyball Federation is continuously breaking their own rules. Against the rules, for the game Alba Blaj – Penicilina the guest was the host, the same as in the first half of the championship. This is just another bit of the perennial corruption inside FRV!
