POL M: Antiga and Blain main contenders to lead Polish team

There are still speculations about the new coach of the Polish national team. It is known that, Andrea Anastasi has finished his job in the Polish NT, but who will take his place? Polish Volleyball Federation issued a statement on the matter and it appears that the candidate is Stephane Antiga.

Here is the statement of the Polish Volleyball Federation:

In view of the emerging media reports about the change of coach of the Polish team – Polish Volleyball Federation announces that in accordance with the applicable procedures – the Board PZPS has the only authority to decide on the cast of the Polish national trainers feature.

On Thursday, October 24 scheduled meeting of the Board where they will address the issue PZPS former coach – Andrea Anastasi. In the case of a decision to cease cooperation with the coach, later will be considered about candidates successor.

Please note that in case of cancellation Anastasi in the first place will be considered candidacy duo Stephane Antiga, as a first coach and Philippe Blain, as a second coach.

The Management Board of the Polish Volleyball Federation in consultation with the Department of Education may decide on any change of personnel and cast the Polish national team coaching staff men. Until then, speculation will not be discussed by the Polish Volleyball Federation.
