The bronze medalists of the last Polish Women’s Volleyball Championship, ŁKS Commercecon Łódź, and their head coach Michal Mašek parted ways.
ŁKS informed that their contract with the head coach Mašek was terminated by mutual agreement of the two parties. It’s not specified why the Slovak expert lost the trust of the club officials but it was most likely due to the fact that ŁKS got eliminated by DevelopRes BELLA DOLINA Rzeszów from the Polish Cup, 2 weeks ago. The reins of the team will be in the hands of Mašek’s assistant Michał Cichy until the end of the season.
ŁKS are currently placed 4th in the TAURON Liga.
