The Polish National Team already lost one important player before the 2016 Rio Olympics Qualification Tournament in Ankara (Turkey), in January. Now, it might suffer another blow.

The setter Katarzyna Skorupa said goodbye to the national team, a few days ago and another player is questionable for playing in Ankara – Katarzyna Zaroślińska, the opposite of PGE Atom Trefl Sopot. In previous CEV Champions League game, two days ago, she didn’t play much.

„Unfortunately, the fact that I wasn’t involved in preparatory period, now comes out. I immediately started playing in domestic league. In addition to problems with the spine, from time to time, my knee swells. I also have problems associated with shoulder… It all accumulated. I’m not able to skip these temporary barriers. At the moment, with the shape that I showed against Novara, I do not feel ready to help the team – whether it’s my club or Poland. If I wouldn’t be ready to play on time, I would not want to occupy the place to someone who can help the team to go to the Olympic Games,” said Zaroślińska.
