Sander was disappointed for losing against Italy in Round 2 of the 2016 FIV World League Final Six but is aware USA still have a chance to qualify to the semifinal.
„We just didn’t start very good. We started a little bit flat with our energy, we couldn’t get it going. I think in the third set, our squad did a good job bringing energy and playing harder. We should mentally prepare before the match better. It doesn’t feel good to lose but we have a chance tomorrow to win and get rid of this feeling,“ Sander said to WorldofVolley after the match.
