According to sport.pl, PlusLiga will also have a slightly different criteria for ranking! In the previous season, the main criteria was the overall number of points, the second criteria was set ratio, then points ratio, while the final criteria was head to head score.
That system caused a lot of argue in the finish of the 2015/16 season, as Asseco Resovia had an advantage over PGE Skra Belchatow, despite the Skra crew had more wins.
Therefore, the league officials have decided to include the number of wins in the ranking system from the 2016/17 season. The main criteria will still be the overall number of points, the second criteria will be number of wins, while the next factors will be set ratio, point ratio…
