“It is an honor to be mentioned as potential head coach of Russia because it is one of the best teams in Europe. At the moment, however, I focus on working with Skra Bełchatów because I really care about achieving something big with this team. The time to think on working with some national team will come later,” Blain said to “SportoweFakty” and added that he has not been in talks with the Russian VF on this topic.

“Since the end of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro I have not had any contact with the Polish Volleyball Federation. No one from the federation talked to me either about the past or the future engagement. Formally, our collaboration has not yet been completed even though I had a contract valid until September. I hope, however, that it will be completed according to the contract,” Skra coach denied the possibility to take over Poland at the moment as well.
