According to Russian media, there are 5 candidates for this job.

The biggest name is definitely Radostin Stoychev, former head coach of Trentino, who is currently unemployed and who is receiving offers from all over the world on a daily basis.

Then, there is Philippe Blain, current head coach of PGE Skra Belchatow and the former assistant of Stephane Antiga in the Poland men’s national team.

The third candidate is the local hero Alexey Verbov. He is still playing volleyball for Zenit Kazan, but from this season he has started coaching the team together with Vladimir Alekno.

The Russian media are still mentioning Boris Grebennikov, head coach of Ural Ufa, while the brand new name among the candidates is Sergey Shlyapnikov, who has been leading Russian Junior team with great success over the past few years.
