EUROVOLLEY 2019 M: Good news for Russia – Kurkaev’s ankle not broken

The injury of a member of Russia Men’s Volleyball National Team, Iliyas Kurkaev, is not serious.



The injury that Kurkaev sustained as a result of a fall during the match against Finland at the 2019 CEV European Championship is not serious as it initially seemed. Right after the match, the middle blocker was taken to the x-ray that showed there was no fracture.

Russia are currently at the top of Pool C in Ljubljana, Slovenia with a 4-0 record and 12 points.
