The European powerhouse crushed their rivals India by 3-0 (25-21, 25-15, 25-16) in Friday’s quarterfinal clash between them.
As Russia outplayed India on all accounts, Victor Poletaev piled up a total of 18 points to become the best scorer of the match. Anup D’Costa was the losing side’s most productive player with 9 points.
