After the announcement of the roster of Russian national team for FIVB Women’s Grand Champions Cup 2013, we are surprised that opposite of Dinamo Moscow Natalia Obmochaeva and the MVP of European Championship 2013 - Tatiana Kosheleva are not included in the team roster. To clarify all the rumors, we had a short conversation with advisor of general director of Dinamo Moscow - Elena Godina.

Tanya and Natasha will not play in the FIVB World Grand Champions Cup in Nov, is it true?

“Yes, it’s true. Champions Cup doesn’t mean a lot for us, so due to some little physical problems, we decided to let them rest and stay in the club.”

That’s ok if they need a rest. But from the fans point of view…

“Yes, we understand…We are so sorry, but you know the situation of the long and hard season ahead. So, we made that decision.

So what’s about Natasha’s health? Her knee problem is not serious?

“She is fine. Girls have played against Igtisadchi Baku in Champions League, lost 2-3. But they are ok.

What Natalia and Tatiana think about not going to the Champions Cup?

“They really want to rest, that was also their decision. They have to recover after national team, after summer season” – said Elena Godina.
