IVolley Magazine learned that Terzić won’t command the Russia Women’s National Team.

In mid-January, the renowned Serbian expert left the bench of the women’s national team of his native country after more than 20 years which were very fruitful. Even though the agreement of the Russian federation with Terzić (currently at the helm of the CEV Champions League semi-finalist Fenerbahçe Opet) was never made official, it was considered a sure thing. The situation has changed after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, which led to the suspension of Russia’s clubs and national teams from international activities, preventing ‘Znornaya’ from participating in the FIVB VNL and the FIVB World Championship this year. For this reason, the agreement of the Russian federation with Terzić was allegedly canceled.
