Unfortunate situation with Ukraine caused Superliga to end the past season with 15 clubs, and mainly because of that, majority in the Russian Volleyball Federation decided to reduce the Superliga to 14 clubs.

Decision is not final yet, but if this goes through, it would mean that Soligrosk will be removed from the Superliga and that from the next season it will be an all-Russian championship.
