Still, Russian volleyball legend Oleg Moliboga made a very interesting suggestion to the Russian Volleyball Federation.
“Serbia and Bulgaria risked with appointing young coaches and it worked out very well for them. Therefore, I cannot think of a better candidate than Sergey Tetyukhin. He participated at six Olympic tournaments, he has seen so much throughout his career. I think he is the most promising option for Russia.”
Moliboga also commented about the possibility that a foreign coach take over Russia men’s national team.
“Nonsense. Foreigners only accept such jobs to make money. He would come, he would leave and he would never look back. I would never appoint foreign coach to lead Russia.”
