China vs. Serbia. Both teams have already made fantastic success by reaching the finals of the Rio 2016 women’s volleyball tournament. Still, each side wants to make one more step. To claim the gold.
China have already felt the joy of winning the Olympic gold. The Asian powerhouse clinched the shiny award at Los Angeles 1984 and at Athens 2004. Now they have a chance to add one more to their cupboard.
It is worth mentioning that China also have 1 silver (Atlanta 1996) and 2 bronze medals (Seoul 1988, Beijing 2008) from the Olympic tournaments.
On the other side, Serbia have never won a medal at the Olympic volleyball tournament, so this will be their first ever! The only question is whether it will be gold or silver…
