In the last matches played on Friday, the defending champions and current leaders of their domestic league Rexona-Sesc shut out University of San Martín de Porres of Lima 3-0 (25-16, 25-11, 25-16), while the organizer Praia Clube destroyed the reigning Argentina champions Club Atlético de Villa Dora 3-0 (25-15, 25-11, 25-13).
Club Olympic will face Boca Juniors for fifth place.
The winners of the South American Club Championship will join hosts Hisamitsu Springs of Kobe and reigning Asian Champions NEC Red Rockets of Kawasaki in the Club Worlds in May.
