Galatasaray vs. Sariyer
Two months ago, Sariyer was just above the bottom of the standings with the overall score 2-7. But, then this team started beating everyone. Literally everyone! In the next six rounds Sariyer made six wins, and the last one came against Galatasaray in Istanbul!
Alexis Crimes scored 23 points for the winning side, while Yusidey Silie added 18. On the other side Galatasaray had tremendous Nadia Centoni who made 27 points. But, in vain.

We have only one effective middle blocker; that is Asli Kalac, now injured. So we had to attack from the corners. Our setter, Gamze, was a promising setter. However, she has turned out to be a bad setter. She missed too many services after second technical time outs and made plenty of wrong decisions, in addition to low quality passes to the spikers. Substitute setter, Nursevil, is too tall, she can not bend properly in case of bad receiving. Barbolini is too late to make substitutions. As a result, we lost the match and lost a big chance for the forth place race versus Nilufer.
