Besiktas-Fenerbahce
In the new round of the Turkish league, Fenerbahce barely defeated Besiktas who are currently on the 8th place with only five wins in the whole season.
Today, Besiktas led 2-1 in the sets when Fenerbahce after a long fight equalized on 2-2. In the tie-break, the hosts had 11-9 but with the stronger attack Fenerbahce at the end finished that set 15-13 and scored a victory of 3-2.
This is the second match in the last seven days that Fenerbahce play below their level. What is the problem?
Today, Besiktas put 19 blocks which are 7 on Rahimova! Maja Malgrozata Tokarska scored 7 blocks from 11 points and Olga Biryukova5 blocks from 21 points.
The change in the Fenerbahce’s team was that Mia Jerkov didn’t play in the line-up, she entered the game to receive the service while young Damla Çakiroglu played the whole match with 54% positive receive and 35% perfect.
Polina Rahimova scored 23 points, Natalia Zilio Pereira 15 and captain Eda Erdem Dundar 14 points for Yellow Angels. Seyma Ercan scored 19 points for Besiktas while Alesia Rykhliuk 13 points.

What is wrong with Fenerbahce? That’s what I will say, there is no Kim Yeon-Koung, no Fenerbahce. Although if the season in China ends earlier, it would be an opportunity to replace Jerkov with Kim. He will play Fenerbahce again. Is it going to be nice? hmm
Nothing wrong with them. Every team in the League is really strong and anyone can beat anyone!
What is wrong with them? Bad transfer of Jerkov. And ofcourse they’re missing Kim Yeon-koung a lot.
Rahimova brings bad luck! 🙂
