“We want to delight our fans with a second home win” says club president Jan Divis. After edging Havirov 3:1 this past weekend, Jihostroj is currently ranked third in the national league but during the last match wing spiker Radek Mach got injured. “He hurt his ankle and the doctor will decide if he is able to join the game with BERLIN” adds head coach Jan Svoboda. All other players are fit and in a good shape, including Peter Platenik who is back in action after nursing a back injury.
“We always enjoy the great support of our fans for our home matches; our supporters are just great” stresses Svoboda. “We hope they will give us the right boost to edge BERLIN and make it to the Challenge Round of the CEV Cup”.
BERLIN Recycling Volleys, currently ranked second in the group after last week they beat the group leaders of Lokomotiv NOVOSIBIRSK, will be looking for valuable points to make it to the Playoffs 12 with the help of their Czech-born libero Martin Krystof.
