The club expressed gratitude towards Cichello for his dedication and professional conduct throughout a notably difficult season. Originally joining the team as an assistant to Julio Velasco at the season’s start, Cichello stepped up as head coach following Velasco’s departure to lead the Italian women’s national team. His prior experience was heavily rooted in men’s volleyball, including stints in Qatar, Italy’s SuperLega, and Iran. UYBA Volley Busto Arsizio has confirmed that Enrico Barbolini, the current assistant coach, will take over coaching responsibilities.
