After getting their fans used to winning medals in recent years (bronze and silver in the last two editions of the league), the players of Lokomotiv spoiled their mood with a 2-4 record at the start of the 2022–23 PARI Superliga for men (2022–23 PARI Суперлига мужчины). But then, the ’Railmen’ started to win, notching the fourth consecutive win in the competition today. They swept ASK at home in Round 10, partially 25-19, 25-19, and 25-23, to move up to the sixth place in the charts.

Ilya Kazachenkov scored the most points for Lokomotiv – 24 points. Dmitriy Lyzik collected 5 blocks. There were no players in double digits in ASK, but one of the guys from the Nizhniy Novgorod side slightly stood out – Andrey Ananiev recorded 5 blocks.
