It took Itas Trentino just over one hour to beat the second-to-last Pallavolo Padova with a clear 3-0. Three points earned in Round 10 of the 2022-23 SuperLega Credem Banca will mean a lot to Trentino for two reasons: to end a downfall consisting of two successive defeats in the league and boost the confidence ahead of the FIVB Club World Championship, starting in a few days in Brazil. Angelo Lorenzetti’s team left Padova only crumbs in the match to line up behind undefeated Sir Safety Susa Perugia in the standings, but with as many as 14 points less that the ’Block Devils’.

Today, Trentino were led by Serb Srećko Lisinac, who tallied 14 points through a 73% attack (11/15). Alessandro Michieletto had 70% reception (10 digs, 20% perfect). On the losing side, Serb Dušan Petković and Belgian Mathijs Desmet scored 10 points each.
