The second week of the Men’s Volleyball Nations League is in full swing with matches taking place in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and Orleans, France. In a remarkable performance, Japan continues to stand undefeated, marking an impressive start to the tournament.

Riding on their winning spree from the first week, where they secured victories in all four matches on their home ground, Team Japan kicked off the second week with a win over Canada. Today, they kept up their streak, sealing a victory against Cuba and marking their sixth consecutive win in the competition.

Ran Takahashi led the Japanese team to a commanding 3-0 (25-21, 25-16, 25-21) shutout of Cuba in a Pool 3 game in Orleans. With this win, Japan continues to lead the current standings of the Volleyball Nations League 2023 with a flawless 6-0 win-loss record and a tally of 18 points.
