Global Volleyball Titans Set to Clash in Brazil for 2024 Club World Championship

The world’s elite men’s volleyball clubs are gearing up for the 2024 FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship, slated to take place from December 10 to 15 at the Sabiazinho Arena in Uberlândia, Brazil. This prestigious tournament will host eight top-tier teams from around the globe, promising a week of high-octane volleyball action.

Competing Teams:

  • Trentino Itas (Italy): Winners of the 2023–24 CEV Champions League
  • Cucine Lube Civitanova (Italy): CEV Champions League Semifinalists.*
  • Sada Cruzeiro (Brazil): Champions of the 2023–24 CSV Club Championship
  • Ciudad Voley (Argentina): Runners-up of the CSV Club Championship
  • Foolad Sirjan Iranian (Iran): Winners of the 2023–24 AVC Club Championship
  • Shahdab Yazd (Iran): Runners-up of the AVC Club Championship
  • Al Ahly SC (Egypt): Champions of the 2023–24 CAVB Club Championship
  • Praia Clube (Brazil): Host club

*Note: Cucine Lube Civitanova replaced Jastrzębski Węgiel (Poland), who were unable to confirm participation.

Tournament Format:

The eight teams will be divided into two groups of four for a round-robin stage. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, culminating in a final match to determine the world champion.
