Sergey Grankin goes abroad for the first time at the age of 33

Did he have an option to stay in Russia after parting ways with Dinamo Moscow?

Probably yes, but Sergey Grankin is one of the players who is constantly striving for the highest goals. That’s why he has decided to go abroad for the first time in his career, at the age of 33.

The Russian national team member will be playing in Berlin Recycling Volley.

As part of the Russian national team, Grankin won the 2012 Olympics, became the two-time European champion, two-time winner of the World League.

BR Volleys are currently in the third place in the German Bundesliga, with a 9-3 score. The team is also playing in the CEV Champions League, but Grankin won’t be able to help them in this tournament since he played already for Dynamo in the same competition.
