The three-time winners of the CEV women’s volleyball Cup, Unet E-Work Busto Arsizio, completed the big hit of the summer transfer window - Jovana Stevanović.

Busto brought in the world champion in 2018 with the Serbia National Team, Stevanović, to their 2020/2021 roster. The 28-year-old middle blocker came to the one-time Italian Championship, Cup, and Super Cup winners from the Serie A rivals, Savino Del Bene Scandicci.

The 2016 CEV Champions League Best Middle Blocker, Stevanović, signed the type of the contract with Busto that isn’t so often seen in the top volleyball competitions. The deal is split into two phases. At the end of the first part of the regular season in the Italian Championship, the two parties will discuss the extension.

CHN M: Chinese federation gives in to pressure, male foreigners will play Super League

Great news on the Men's Super League. The Women's you referred to in the news is actually not the same with the Super League though. It is a separate tournament roughly called National Championships where the provincial teams compete for the top honour. Women's Super League won't start until much later. If foreign players are allowed in Men's tournament, then it only.makes sense the same would apply to the women's. Let's keep our fingers and toes crossed! Reply
