Crucial was the contribution of Bolívar’s huge reinforcement Michael Sánchez Bozhulev, who was the top scorer of the match with 34 points. The Cuban star made his debut upon arrival from Korean Air Jumbos in semifinals of the tournament when Bolívar outplayed Obras Pocito de San Juan.
Thus, Bolívar returned to play the South American Club Championship after six years being one of two Argentine representatives along with UPCN San Juan Vóley.
The tournament will be held in Brazilian city of Taubaté (the State of São Paulo) on February 15-21.
