Calzedonia Verona set eyes on Andrea Giovi, the libero of Serie A1 silver medalists Sir Safety Conad Perugia and according to some Italian media, the deal is close to be sealed. It also means that Perugia will have to search for his replacement, which allegedly should be Massimo Colaci. Diatec Trentino might spoil Perugia’s plans as they are ready to extend with him. Even Cucine Lube Banca Marche Civitanova are interested in Colaci.
Besides Giovi, Verona is in final negotiations with Portuguese receiver/outside hitter Alexandre Ferreira from the Turkish Ziraat Bankası Ankara.
