Sheilla

Sheilla, you have been living in Istanbul for the past three months, what are your impressions about the city?

Istanbul is beautiful and I like it very much. I do not have so much time to get to know the city well, but I know some places, I like the food also…”

What is your favorite food in Turkey?

“I like sütlaç, I like baklava with ice cream… Oh, I do not know all the names… Doner kebab maybe…”

Do you still miss Brazil?

“For sure. I miss my family, my friends, but I have a nice time in Turkey.”

Did you go home for the New Year’s eve?

“No, I spent it here in Belek! We had to practice for the Gloria Cup. Giovanni is just “crazy” for practices (smile).”

A lot of time has passed since you were in Italy and played in European competitions. What has changed since then?

“I arrived in Italy when I was 20 years old. Now I am 31, so I am much more experienced. I do not know what is different in the game itself. Maybe I am different (smile). I just try to help my club to be the best.”

VakifBank certainly wants to win in all competitions, but is there some which is special for you?

“I want to win the Champions League!!! I have never won it my career, so it would be the special competition for me in the 2015.”
