I want to dedicate the victory to all my family in Cuba who were following the match, for sure, and also to the fans of Sada Cruzeiro who have been so kind with me. I am very happy. About the game, the serves were the key for us today.”
Alexander Butko, captain of Lokomotiv: “Sada Cruzeiro played at a very high level and their fans are like a seventh player. They are very good and helped their team. It is a lesson for us because this is a new team. Playing in our first club world championship and finishing second is a good result for us.”
