While the drawing of lots for the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship was taking place at Warsaw’s Palace of Culture and Science on Monday, the social media world was quickly reacting to events.

During the drawing of lots there was an estimated 120 tweets per hour, the draw had a reach of over a million and registered 3.8 million impressions relating to the event as fans found out who their favourite team would face in the tournament that runs from August 30-September 21.
