The Netherlands had a good start by defeating Cuba 3-0 (25-11, 25-13, 25-20) in the opening match of Pool K play in the FIVB 2014 World Grand Prix on Friday.

The Dutch squad controlled the match from the beginning. Judith Petersen scored 14 points and Anne Buijs 12 in the victory.
