We have the first big favorite who’s been eliminated from the tournament. Italy just couldn’t hold the high level without the best player Ivan Zaytsev, who had to return home because of the injury. And, the rest of the team will soon join him…
On the other side, Poland is back on the track. After losing against USA, host of the tournament managed to get up on the feet and collect three very important points. And, of course, to stay in the battle for the third phase.
Mariusz Wlazly dominated the game with 25 points, while Michal Kubiak added 12 for Poland. In the losing side, Luca Vettori made 18 points.
