So much happines in the eyes of German players after the game, we couldn’t even choose who to ask for a conversation. Not just happines it was some kind of relief after everything what happened, they proved that German mentality isn’t just a phrase.
What did coach Vital said after last night? It must be something amazing.
“Nothing! Ok not nothing, he was mad, everybody were mad. We just played awful and he was screaming he was furious but we all understood that it is maybe our last time to play in this stage of the World Championship. It’s amazing what can I say, of course it’s amazing we are one win away from winning a medal!” Kaliberda was estatic.
Do we dare to talk about the gold?
“Well we just want to win at least one game. At least. Of course if we can win two it would be crazy, but nobody even believes in that except for us. We just have to believe.”
Hey Lukas (Kampa), I need some answers, how did you bounced back like this?
“We had a talk in the locker room and pointed out that it was our only chance. We couldn’t give up. There were some angry words in the locker room last night but hey, it has to be passionate it’s the World Championship. Still, coach knows our character and that we don’t give up ever.”
