UNTREF-Unión de Formosa
La Unión de Formosa had a great start with Alejandro Spajic very active in blocking and attack reach the first break with lead 8-4. The excellent work of Franco Massimino in defense for Unión de Formosa and finaly they took the first set 25-20.
The meeting grew in intensity from the start of the second set with Gastón Giani very effective in rotation. With Jiri Popelka and Martinez relentless UNTREF matched him at 12. From the errors of Formosa players UNTREF came forward by 22-21. In a very tight closure La Unión de Formosa took the second set (28-26).
The Unión de Formosa pulled away early in the third with a good collective performance. After second time-out the Union continued pulling the strings with Moreno and Gustavo Scholtis played exelent. In the end Formosa won by 25-21.
