“We have an incredible team, a close-knit group. We’re good together, we played a lot of years on the same team, since we were young. This is very positive for us. We enjoy traveling and playing together, and we want to continue to learn. We know that we still have a long way to reach our goals, but we want to get there” Quiroga said.
Most of the players of this Argentine national team played together all the youth categories. For example, De Cecco, Santucci, Pereyra and Quiroga have been together in the national team since 2005, Conte, Solé, Uriarte and Crer belong to the generation of 2007, Bruno, Ramos and Castellani are from 2009.
“That’s because we spend so much time together, but we do not have the same taste in music… I like rock, especially Metallica and heavy metal! My teammates listen to very different music, I have very few allies in musical taste. Crer and Solé are fans of Cumbia (a tropical music, ed.)” Quiroga reveals.
