ARG W: Argentine Seniors’ Women Team finished a new concentration at Cenard facilities

On Thursday afternoon the Argentine Seniors' Women Team finished a new concentration at Cenard facilities. The girls coached by Horacio Bastit and his staff worked for nearly two weeks thinking on the demanding international season that includes the second consecutive participation at the FIVB Grand Prix.

Most of the summon girls were those that shone at the Argentine A1 Women League from Boca, Estudiantes del Paraná and San Martín de Formosa together with those that participate of foreign leagues and that already finished their participation and returned to the country. Also some Junior and Youth athletes, that participated of the World Championship in Turkey 2011 were part of the training.

Now, they will concentrate with most of their players on April 23rd with the arrival among others of Emilce Sosa, Lucía Gaido and Antonela Curatola.

Their first 2012 international challenge will be the South America Olympic Qualification competition to be held in Brazil beginning May. Then, it will be time to face the most important annual women national teams organized by the FIVB, the Grand Priz and then, in July the Pan-American Cup for the seniors and in September the U 23 category.

Also the grass-root categories will start working with the juniors’ in Los Toldos, where they play as host team the Argentine A1 Women Teams League starting next week while at the same time the Seniors’ will concentrate at the state-of-the-arts Sport Centre in Coronel Vidal city, at Buenos Aires Province.
