Argentina will have to look for their Olympic ticket on some other qualifying tournament, but the truth is that squad of Julio Velasco really showed some very good volleyball at the FIVB World Cup 2015 in Japan. The best example was the last game in which Argentina lost to Italy after a tie-break.
“It was a great match. We enjoyed and learned a lot from this experience. We hope that Italy will qualify for the Rio Games” said Luciano De Cecco.
It is no wonder that De Cecco will cheer for Italy on the last day of the tournament, as this player have spent many years in Serie A and he is a current member of Sir Safety Perugia. De Cecco and his teammates will actually be able to help Italy as they are playing against USA in the final match…
