“We have improved a lot lately. We did what we expected and kept concentration and set ourselves in the court. I think that we had a good match against Brazil even though we lost in three but this last one has been our best performance”, Argentina’s captain Emilce Sosa mentioned.
“The third set was a huge difference and we have been victims of our irregular game since the last Olympic qualifying tournament, but we can rescue the victories over Mexico and Trinidad and Tobago at the Pan Am Cup”, said Costa Rica’s coach Xavier Perales.
“I am satisfied with the victory but not with the way we played tonight. In the second set Costa Rica got so close and I thought we almost lose it. I have seen a team that has shown a great evolution in Costa Rica”, Argentina’s coach Horacio Bastit indicated.
