UPCN – Bolívar
The fifth and decisive set of Game 2 started even, with point to point play. During tie-break, crowd in UPCN’s gymnasium was entirely on their feet watching an exhausting battle. At 6-6, UPCN created a slight gap mostly thanks to blocking. They played “hot” balls better until the end to finish off rivals and start dreaming of a new title.
The Cuban from Bolívar, Michael Sánchez Bozhulev, scored game-high 25 points. Bulgarian Nikolay Uchikov had 23 in UPCN.
Game 3 of the final series will be held in Bolívar’s gymnasium on April 8.
