“Fernandinha is a sassy setter, blocks well, really pulls the team. She is a leader on the court, and likes to take responsibility. We have to be careful. This game will be difficult because they are coming from a defeat and will want to win. The team will come aggressive” Fofão said.
“We know that Rio de Janeiro defends well and plays long balls. We are motivated to face the team that is in front of us. Fofão is an amazing player. When I was beginning to play with it 19, 20 years, I felt much pressure to have her on the other side, but always tried to learn something. She has my admiration and respect not only for being the player, but the person who is, by humility. She is crucial for the team, she pulls them, she is a complete player. And she is the leader.” Fernandinha shared her thoughts.
