Both head coaches, Renan Dal Zotto and José Roberto Guimarães “Zé Roberto”, agreed to a decision of the country’s federation to cancel all types of activities of the national teams in 2020.

The initial idea was to bring the groups together at the Volleyball Development Center in Saquarema but after listening to experts and assessing the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil, the option that emerged was to cancel the schedule.
