In the next round, RJX will play against Buenos Aires Unidos on Friday. The semifinals will be played on Saturday, and the final match on Sunday.
The Vikings put pressure on the Rio de Janeiro and had success at the begining of the first set. With the first team on the court after second technical timeout RJX lead 16:13. After that RJX kept the same level of play and close the first set in 25:17 in 22 minutes.
In the second set off Vikings opened with 3:0. Enough to wake Bruno and Co., which turned to 8:7 at the first technical timeout of the set. Rio and Vikings played point to point until the 23:23, when Lucão got a beautiful ace and put the champion of Superleague 2012/13 in front. RJX won second set three points later 26:24 in 27 minutes.
The third and final set was Brazilian dominated from start to finish. Rio de Janeiro had no trouble staying ahead in the game and close the set with 25:15 in 21 minutes.
