Brazil's coach Jose Roberto Guimaraes was plenty satisfied with the overall performance of his side against Thailand, particularly with the number of blocks scored today.

Brazilian coachJose Guimaraes  saidWe did well with our plan today. We had 17 block points which was good. We used some new players today due to injury and give rest to others. We are happy about the result and look forward to our next match in Tokyo with the Dominican Republic.

Thailand coachKittiapong Radchatagrienkai: We learned a lot of lessons from one of the great teams in the world today. We tried our best but it was not good enough. They had a good game plan and made very few errors.

Brazil captainFabiana Claudino: Everything worked well for us with our strategic plan today. We blocked, served and attacked well.

Thailand captainWilavan ApinyapongWe tried our best. Brazil’s players are very strong in every technique and skill. It was difficult for us to get points today. We will try to improve our technique for the next match.
