Rexona vs. Osasco
The team of Bernardo Rezende will face the second placed team in Brazilian championship Praia Clube who had swept Minas of Belo Horizonte in three sets 26-24, 25-22, 25-18.
“It was the game we expected. Rio de Janeiro against Osasco is always a thrill and this match was no different. It is very difficult to play against a high block as that of Osasco and their two middle blockers, Thaisa and Adenizia were very efficient,” says Gabi.
“We are doing great in the Superliga and now reach an unprecedented Cup final. We are delighted to bring our team on this position” says Walewska Oliveira.
The final is scheduled at Taquaral Gymnasium in Campinas (23:30 C.E.T.). Rexona is going to play in the final for the first time since 2007, when they beat Osasco and won the trophy. Praia Clube are in their first ever Cup final.
